I’m Rebecca Baldassarri, M.D., RYT-200: parent of two little humans, physician, and yoga teacher who’s passionate about guiding parents back to their best selves through yoga.
After a traumatic birth that left me reeling, I realized the path I was on wasn’t working. I felt out of touch with myself: exhausted, running on autopilot, and stretched thin by the relentless pressure of trying to do it all.
Through yoga, mindfulness, and intentional self-inquiry, I discovered a path back to presence: one that completely shifted parenthood for the better. I now guide other parents along this Reconnection Path™️ with both empathy and expertise.
At Yoga for Parents, I believe inner work is an investment, not a luxury.
Every parent has the capacity to be present, grounded, and spacious; you just need the right support, mindset, and guidance to pause, practice, and show up fully for yourself and your family.
The offerings at Yoga for Parents combine the wisdom & embodied practices of yoga, science, and real parenting experience, providing a realistic path back to wellness for modern parents.
My teaching comes from lived experience, not just theory. I understand deeply the nuances of parenting in a fast-paced world, and I honor each parent’s unique journey. Whether it’s a brief mindfulness practice during a hectic day or a deeper exploration of yoga philosophy to clarify the many choices we make as parents, my mission is to help you find your still point in the center of family life — and to rekindle your connection to your highest self.
