1. Registration & Eligibility

YFP classes and series are open to adults. Registration is for the specific class or series for which you are registering.

For four-week series:

  • Registration includes all four scheduled classes.

  • Registration is limited to the individual who registered and is not transferable.

  • Regular drop-in registration is not available.

  • After the first class has taken place, participants may register for the remaining classes at a prorated rate, subject to availability. No new registrations will be accepted after the first class.

  • Payment is due at the time of registration, and registration is not confirmed until payment has been received.

  • Payment plans or installment payments are not available.

2. Participant Cancellations & Refunds

Participants may receive a refund, less applicable payment-processing fees, if they cancel at least 7 days before the series begins.

No refunds will be provided for cancellations made less than 7 days before the series begins or after the series has started.

Missed classes are not refundable and cannot be transferred, credited, or made up.

3. YFP Cancellations & Makeup Classes

If YFP cancels a scheduled class due to illness, emergency, venue issues, or other circumstances, YFP will make reasonable efforts to provide a makeup class.

If a makeup class cannot reasonably be scheduled, participants will receive a prorated refund for the cancelled class.

If a participant is unable to attend a makeup class, no additional refund, credit, or alternative makeup will be provided.

4. Weather & Outdoor Conditions

For outdoor classes, if weather or outdoor conditions make the scheduled practice unsafe or unsuitable, the class will be moved to the designated indoor contingency location.

YFP will notify participants of any location change as soon as reasonably possible.

If the indoor contingency location is unavailable, YFP will make reasonable efforts to provide a makeup class. If a makeup cannot reasonably be scheduled, participants will receive a prorated refund for the cancelled class.

If a participant is unable to attend a makeup class, no additional refund, credit, or alternative makeup will be provided.

5. Location Changes

YFP may change the location of a scheduled class when reasonably necessary due to venue availability, safety, weather, or other circumstances. Participants will be notified of any location change as soon as reasonably possible.

6. Participant Responsibility & Medical Disclaimer

Participants are responsible for practicing within their own abilities and limitations and for modifying, resting, or discontinuing an activity when appropriate.

Participants should inform the instructor of any relevant injury, physical limitation, medical condition, or other circumstance that may affect their participation.

YFP classes are intended to support general wellness and physical activity and are not medical care, diagnosis, or treatment. YFP does not provide individualized medical advice or medical clearance for participation.

Pregnancy: This is a general adult yoga class and is not specifically designed or modified for pregnancy. Pregnant participants should consult their healthcare provider regarding participation and are responsible for practicing within their own abilities and limitations. YFP does not provide individualized prenatal yoga instruction.

7. Instructor Discretion

YFP reserves the right to modify, substitute, or omit practices or activities based on weather, site conditions, safety considerations, or the needs of the group.

8. Liability Waiver & Release

Participation in YFP classes and activities requires agreement to the separate Yoga for Parents Liability & Release Waiver.

Participants must complete and agree to the required Liability & Release Waiver before participating in the series.

YFP reserves the right to deny participation to anyone who has not completed the required registration documents.

9. Photography & Video

YFP may photograph or record classes and events for promotional purposes, including use on the YFP website and social media.

Participation in photography or recording is optional, and declining consent will not affect eligibility to participate.

YFP will make reasonable efforts to avoid intentionally photographing or recording participants who have not provided consent.

Photography/video consent is provided separately during registration.

10. Arrival & Personal Belongings

Participants are encouraged to arrive a few minutes before the scheduled start time to allow time to get settled and ready for practice.

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings. YFP is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

11. Participant Conduct

Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward the instructor, other participants, and the venue.

YFP reserves the right to ask a participant to leave if their behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate.

12. Accessibility

If you have an accessibility need or other circumstance that may affect your ability to participate, please contact YFP before registering so we can discuss whether the series can reasonably accommodate your needs.

13. Minimum Enrollment & Series Cancellation

YFP reserves the right to cancel a series due to insufficient enrollment or circumstances beyond YFP's reasonable control.

If YFP cancels the series before it begins, participants will receive a full refund, less any applicable payment-processing fees.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

16. Electronic Agreement

By completing registration and selecting the required acknowledgment boxes, participants agree to these Terms & Conditions and the Yoga for Parents Liability & Release Waiver. Electronic acceptance has the same effect as a written signature to the extent permitted by applicable law.

17. Changes to These Terms & Conditions

YFP may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The Terms & Conditions in effect at the time of a participant's registration will apply to that participant's purchase and participation in the series.

Yoga for Parents

Liability Waiver & Release Agreement

Yoga for Parents is a registered DBA of Still Point Yoga LLC.

This Liability Waiver & Release Agreement (“Agreement”) applies to my participation in yoga classes, workshops, instruction, events, and related physical activities (collectively, “Activities”) offered by Yoga for Parents and/or its owner, instructors, teachers, contractors, volunteers, agents, and representatives, including Rebecca Baldassarri (collectively, “Released Parties”).

By signing this Agreement (or by selecting “I agree” during registration), I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in the Activities and agree as follows:

1. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISKS

I understand that the Activities involve physical movement and exertion and that participation includes inherent risks, which may include, but are not limited to: muscle soreness, strains, sprains, falls, loss of balance, aggravation of an existing injury or condition, and other physical injury. I understand that these risks cannot be completely eliminated even when reasonable precautions are taken.

2. PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITIES; PARTICIPATION WITHIN LIMITS

I agree to participate within my own abilities and limitations. I understand that I may choose to modify, rest, or discontinue an activity at any time. I agree to monitor my condition before, during, and after participation and to stop participating if I experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or any other symptoms of concern.

3. HEALTH & MEDICAL RESPONSIBILITY; NO MEDICAL ADVICE

I understand that the Activities are not a substitute for individualized medical care. I understand that Yoga for Parents and Rebecca Baldassarri do not provide individualized medical advice or medical clearance.

I represent that I am responsible for determining whether participation is appropriate for me and for informing the instructor of any relevant injury, physical limitation, medical condition, pregnancy, recent surgery, or other condition that may affect my ability to safely participate.

4. PARTICIPATION & SAFETY; INSTRUCTOR DIRECTION

I agree to follow reasonable instructions provided by the instructor(s) and to use reasonable care during participation. I understand that the instructor may ask me to modify or discontinue an activity if, in the instructor’s judgment, continuing would present a safety concern.

5. EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE AUTHORIZATION

In the event of a medical emergency during or related to my participation, I authorize Yoga for Parents and/or the instructor to contact emergency medical services and/or to seek emergency assistance on my behalf if they deem it necessary. I understand and agree that I am responsible for any medical expenses or costs associated with emergency care.

6. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I voluntarily assume all inherent and other risks associated with my participation in the Activities, whether known or unknown, including risks arising from my own actions or omissions and from the actions or omissions of others.

7. RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I hereby release, waive, and discharge the Released Parties from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to my participation in the Activities, including, without limitation, claims for personal injury, bodily injury, illness, property damage, or death, whether occurring on or off the premises and whether arising from ordinary negligence or otherwise, except to the extent such claims cannot be released under applicable law.

8. OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES ADDENDUM (IF APPLICABLE)

If I participate in any Activities conducted outdoors, this Agreement includes and incorporates the following additional acknowledgments and responsibilities:

(a) Outdoor Risks

I understand that outdoor activities may include additional risks and conditions that may include, but are not limited to: uneven or changing ground surfaces; natural obstacles; sun exposure and heat; wind; insects; allergens; environmental conditions; and the presence of other people and animals. I understand that outdoor conditions may change during a class.

(b) Safety and Preparation

I agree to use reasonable care and to follow reasonable safety instructions provided by the instructor. I am responsible for dressing appropriately for outdoor conditions and for bringing any water, sun protection, insect protection, or other personal items I may need.

(c) Modifications; Discontinuation; Scheduling Changes

I understand that I may choose to modify, rest, or discontinue an activity at any time. I understand that Yoga for Parents may change the location, modify, postpone, or cancel an outdoor class when weather or environmental conditions make outdoor participation unsafe or unsuitable.

9. ACKNOWLEDGMENT & AGREEMENT

I acknowledge that I have read and understood this Agreement, that I understand I am giving up certain legal rights by signing it, and that I sign it voluntarily. If I accept this Agreement electronically by selecting “I agree” during registration, I intend that action to constitute my signature and agreement to be bound. I confirm that I am of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.
