Steady Under Pressure
How to show up as the parent you want to be—even when things get hard.
A free, live online workshop for parents
You know the parent you want to be.
You want to be present with your kids. To respond thoughtfully rather than react automatically. To navigate the hard moments with greater steadiness, clarity, and choice.
And yet, when parenthood gets hard, it can be surprisingly difficult to access that version of yourself.
What if the answer isn't another parenting strategy?
What if there's a different way to approach the challenges of parenthood—one that begins with understanding yourself?
Join me for a different kind of conversation about parenthood.
In this interactive workshop, we'll explore how the conditions of parenthood can bring familiar patterns out in us—and how the teachings of yoga can help us meet those moments differently.
You'll have an opportunity to:
Recognize your patterns under pressure. Explore what tends to happen in you when parenthood gets challenging.
Tune in to your embodied experience. Discover what your body can tell you about how you're meeting a difficult moment.
Explore a different way forward. Use a yoga-based framework to consider what a particular situation calls for—and what is yours to do.
Leave with something to practice. Identify one way to bring this perspective into your own life.
This isn't a parenting class about what you should do. And it's not a traditional yoga class focused on poses.
It's an opportunity to explore how you meet parenthood—and how you might develop a different relationship with its challenges.
Who is this for?
This workshop is for parents who care deeply about how they show up for their kids, but sometimes find themselves reacting in ways that don't reflect the parent they want to be.
You don't need prior yoga experience. Just bring a willingness to get curious about yourself.

I'm Rebecca Baldassarri, M.D., RYT-200, and the founder of Yoga for Parents.
Through my work as a physician, yoga teacher, and parent, I've become increasingly interested in the gap between knowing how we want to show up and being able to access that version of ourselves when parenthood gets hard.
Yoga offers a way to work with that gap—not by giving us another set of rules, but by helping us develop awareness, discernment, and the capacity to choose how we respond.
This workshop is an introduction to that approach.
