It begins with something much quieter — your breath getting shorter, the jaw tightening, a sense of rushing, the feeling that you’re already a little overloaded without realizing it.

Understanding this is helpful.


But being able to notice it in real time — in the middle of parenting, when things are loud or messy or emotional — is a skill.

And that skill comes from practice.

Steady Parent Lab is a short, guided series where we practice exactly that.

What’s the Steady Parent Lab?

Over three sessions, we’ll work together to slow things down; to integrate what you learned in the workshop —using body-based practice, reflection, and conversation to help you recognize the early signals of stress, shift your nervous system, and respond with more steadiness.
